I grew up surrounded by flowers. I have dreamy childhood memories of pressing flowers, making perfumes, potions and potpourris. As a teen, I worked after school in local florists learning some of the technical tricks of the trade. I originally decided to go down the ‘safer’ path of graphic design before feeling the pull back to my passion of working with flowers.
Fast-forward a wee bit and with the encouragement of friends, who were lining me up to do their weddings and Oh So Pretty was born.
I love the interesting textures, a wonky stem, a collection of dried seedpods, an unexpected shade of green, maybe even some weeds… Untamed. Organic. Natural.
Oh So Pretty creates tailored florals to suit our clients brief and budget. We love to get to know you and make the florals showcase you as a couple or as your brand. It is important to me to support local and personally know our growers and where our flowers come from. I am immensely proud to be a part of the Manawatu wedding landscape.
